CHRISTOPHER

1. You’ve spent a lot of time touring and living in the U.S. – any favorite things/food/etc. that you can’t find in Australia?

Something America does that we don’t really do in Australia is Halloween, which is my favorite time of year.

I love being in America during the month of October, and if we aren’t at the gym or doing a show, then I’m at the nearest theme park going through the haunted attractions.  They are the best and worst thing at the same time!

2. How did you guys come up with this idea? Did you spend all your money going to magician school and could not afford clothing?

Mike and myself were two best friends, both who had successful independent careers as comedians and magicians.  We were both passionate about making something that had legitimately never been done before in our industry.  We realized that three words had never been uttered before…”Naughty. Magic. Show.”  We knew it would be either the best or worst idea ever - 7 countries and 250+ cities later, we love getting on stage with our sleeves up and pants down.

3. What’s your favorite trick and why?

I can’t tell you what happens, but the finale of The Naked Magicians is my absolute favorite trick. It is THE most outrageous, magical, naughty and hilarious thing you will ever see. It literally has people leaving the theatre with tears streaming down their face, and stomachs sore from laughter - it’s my favorite thing in the world to make happen!

4. What is the best thing about your profession? Traveling? Meeting People?

More than anything else, I love that for 90 minutes I just make people laugh. In 2018, with everything going on - there is something truly special about not worrying about anything, and just having a good night of entertainment.  I am so thankful that I can give people that (and hopefully make them a bit horny in the process).

5. What do you do when you’re not naked and making magic?

I exercise (clothed), nap (naked), FaceTime my dog (depends), and go to the movies (clothed).

MIKE

1. You’ve spent a lot of time touring and living in the U.S. – any favorite things/food/etc. that you can’t find in Australia?

One of my favorite things is doing morning TV in USA. The hosts always get excited once they hear our accents and realise we really are Australian. All of a sudden they’re much more encouraging of us to get naked live on-air and show off what we’ve got “down under”.

2. How did you guys come up with this idea? Did you spend all your money going to magician school and could not afford clothing?

As best mates we often talked about the cheesy stereotypes that still exist in many magic shows these days – the top hats, tuxedo, capes and wands. We already had full time successful careers as entertainers and decided to create a show that would strip away those magic stereotypes. The aim was always to create a very cheeky, very funny show with incredible magic that would attract an audience that wouldn’t normally attend a magic show. Now we’re having an amazing time touring the world getting our wands out on stage.

3. What’s your favorite trick and why?

All the tricks in our show are centred around those naughty topics that people normally only talk about with friends behind closed doors after a few wines. I love that our show allows us to have hundreds or sometimes thousands of people in stitches while we explore those risqué topics. Giving the audience a sore jaw from laughing is one of my favorite things to do naked ;-)

4. What is the best thing about your profession? Traveling? Meeting People?

Christopher and myself were best mates before we created this show. What other job can you do travelling the world with your buddy, entertaining a theatre full of people every night? Turning up naked to work is a nightmare for most people, for us it’s a dream we’re living every day and we love it!

5.  What do you do when you’re not naked and making magic?

When I’m not on tour, I’m doing work on the house in Australia and spending time with my nieces. I also swim, run or gym every day. Keep an eye out for my Speedo tan lines on stage
